Summer Enrichment: MAYA 3D Modeling and Texturing for Video Games- Description
- In this fun and fast paced course, we will make 3D models that can be used in game development or film and animation. Students will develop a style guide and create a set of models and textures to create a simple set or scene. The models will be imported to the UNITY game engine where the scene can be arranged, lit, and walked through! The course will include instruction in MAYA, Photoshop and UNITY fundamentals, and no experience is necessary!
Mr. Noyes is offering three courses in June that can be taken as a series, where students learn to model, level design, and finally put together a game, or as separate one week courses on the individual topics.
NOTE: This class has a lunch period / two breaks. Please bring your own lunch.
