Summer Enrichment: 3D Video Game Development in UNITY- Description
- This course focuses entirely on UNITY and the process of building a game from the ground up. Coding will be provided and is not required, but a set of video tutorials for students who wish to learn about coding and write the scripts themselves will also be provided. The majority of instructions walk through the process of configuring scripts, configuring audio, setting up user interface, and balancing and adjusting game mechanics.
Students in the previous game design courses will be able to use their assets to create a playable game based on their earlier work, and other enrollees will be given a library of assets to use to construct their game. Game options will include a simple FPS or Racing game.
Mr. Noyes is offering three courses in June that can be taken as a series, where students learn to model, level design, and finally put together a game, or as separate one week courses on the individual topics.
NOTE: This class has a lunch period. Please bring your own lunch.
