How old are students in the classes?
College Essay
The College Essay Class is designed for high school Juniors and Seniors. Freshmen are not permitted to take the class. Sophomores are strongly discouraged.
SAT Prep
The SAT Prep Class is designed for high school seniors, juniors and second term sophomores. Advanced freshmen are permitted on a space available basis.
ACT Prep
The ACT Prep Class is designed for high school seniors, juniors and second term sophomores. Advanced freshmen are permitted on a space available basis.
Freshmen in Upper Division Classes
If a freshman enrolls in an upper division class:
- They can lose their space to an upper classman. A full refund will be provided.
- If their freshman status is discovered after the class has started, they may be asked to leave the class. An account credit good for one year will be provided.
Summer Enrichment
Summer Enrichment Classes are designed for students that will be attending high school in the fall. Incoming 9th graders are welcome, but need to realize that they will be in the class with older students. New graduates typically do not take summer enrichment classes.
