SAT Prep: SAT Prep On-Line

Description

Strategy and practice for the SAT. The popular SAT prep course has been adjusted for an online environment. The class will run for 6 weeks on Saturdays. Students are expected to commit a minimum of 20 hours over the course of 6 weeks.

The course consists of:

• 1 hour introduction Zoom meeting at 9 AM on the first Saturday.
• Diagnostic tests (3 hours - can be taken at the student's convenience)
• Screencasts of tips and strategies for different sections (each 1 hour - can be taken at student's convenience) 
• Practice section tests (each 1 hour - can be taken at the student's convenience)
• Zoom small group (4 to 5 students) 50 minute tutoring sessions.   
  • Students will be placed into tutoring sessions based on their practice section test results.   
  • Sessions will start on-the-hour from 9 AM to 4 PM.   
  • Students will know which tutoring session they have been assigned by the prior Wednesday.   

Weeks 3 - 6 Tutoring session times will be at 9 AM or 10 AM or 11 AM or 1 PM or 2 PM or 3 PM, as determined by the instructor and communicated to the student by the prior Wednesday.
